Providing Oxygen Machines for the Beirut Crisis in Lebanon

Together with Toplace, to support those affected by the explosion in Beirut in 2020 and the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, Wiping Tears purchased and coordinated for 100 oxygen machines to be sent to Lebanon.

Nearly a third of the population are living below the poverty line, with the most at-risk and vulnerable families unable to receive basic care and essential health services.

With hospitals overrun due to Covid 19 and supplies impossible to import, the country has seen an increase in crime such as theft due to the political unrest and economic turmoil the country is experiencing. To ensure the machines got to those who needed them safely and securely, the Lebanese army assisted in personally delivering the machines.
